Beautiful work. Completed early. Dean (Design Consultant) and Alina (Project Manager) made sure we were happy with each phase and item of work. Even if I was fussy about minor things, there were no complaints from any of the PHB crew.
Updated review: My hubby and I have been enjoying our finished project and we couldn’t be happier with Preffered Home Builders. They did such an incredible job, it’s amazing to be living in a space that did not exist a few months ago. Tamir helped walk us through the design and we’re glad we followed it because we’re so happy with the greater privacy and use of the space. The experience of PHB really comes through, and as someone who has never done any house work or owned a house, I was reassured of their professionalism and recommendations. Their customer customer service was fantastic. We had tons of questions and our concerns were always addressed throughout the whole process. Talia was our project manager and she was always accessible as well as the rest of the crew. When bumps came up, PHB was always so professional and it was reassuring since the home-building world was so foreign to us. My husband and I learned a ton, we are so happy with our finished project, and we’re excited to put in more TLC to our home with Preffered Home Builders.

In the process of vetting contractors for an extension project in my home, Preffered Home Builders stands out! Paul in the office has been helpful and open. Tamir who has helped us work out more details is a stand up guy, so professional and knowledgeable! I appreciated the attention to details and his vast experience. He took us to a work site and it was reassuring to see a similar project we had in mind. Tamir also washed out our AC unit (which was totally gross!) when it went bust and he didn’t have too! Super nice, and the pride and confidence in his work is reassuring. As my family is finalizing what we can afford and who we will be working with, I’ve appreciated Preffered Home Builders.
I'm so happy with our kitchen remodel and the work performed by Preferred Home Builders. We only wanted to add a dishwasher to our small kitchen and all other companies said it wasn't possible. The designer, Rene, brought in multiple foremen to try and give us what we wanted. After pricing it all out and bringing in the owner (Tamir), it made more sense to do a full remodel. Sure, the other companies said that from the get-go, but in working with Preferred, I felt confident that they were on my side and truly wanted me to have the kitchen I wanted.
Tamir was phenomenal in walking me through what we could do within our budget. He has a passion for his work and we knew we were in good hands. They quoted us 3 weeks for our project while other companies quoted 2 months! Not only that... but they got the job done in TWO WEEKS. With a curious one-year-old at home, we were over the moon to have a beautiful working kitchen so quickly.
The workers were skilled and kind. Our foreman, Sam, kept the train moving and we are so happy with the results. There were some hiccups with the inspection processes, but our project manager, Jadi was excellent from start to finish. She communicated each situation clearly and honestly. She was always available by text and we felt like we had a friend throughout the entire process. I'll definitely be calling Preferred again for our next project.
